Fall & Winter Class Schedule

I am currently working towards my Fall & winter class schedule, & have been assessing how I will proceed during this period of constant changes surrounding the Covid-19 protocols. Class Attendance Limited by Covid-19

Class attendance is limited at this time because of Covid 19 as laid out by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry according to the Provincial Health Guidelines. Personal sessions may continue at this time but masks must be worn & a Covid-19 Health Assessment must be filled out before a session begins. ​Weekly updates are given for gatherings.           


     The practice of yoga began for me as a teenage girl. I spent many years after my first experience with yoga catching a class when I could, practicing at home when time was of the essence, & at times abandoning all but brief asanas all together. When I look back over the years, I realize how available yoga has always been to me, even a short practice had the capability of energizing me & awakening me to the limitless possibilities that life had to offer. My mat has become a place of precious solitude, where I can stretch & grow my body, my mind & connect to my soul. It has brought with it a tribe where I feel welcome without judgement or expectation to be anything other than who I am.. Yoga continues to empower me as an older woman, & I am moving into my latter years with joy, strength & looking at new horizons. My mat has been with me on beaches, in the forest, in RV's while it rained & many a hotel room. It has even come with me to hospice settings & hospital wards, giving me a few minutes break when I needed it in the visitors lounge.

     Yoga can help you in ways you never dreamed possible. It can help to restore function to your body, help to calm your mind. & relieve some of the tension that we all experience. Yoga can take you on a journey to explore yourself in new ways with each practice that you do. Yoga means "Yoking together" taking your breath & awareness to your body, where all three can meet together in unity. I would love to share the principles, asanas & joy that comes with developing a practice that can reach out to you where you are at in this moment in time.
