 Winter & Spring Class Schedule

      My Winter & Spring class schedule begins February 1st.  I will be offering two classes on Wednesdays, a Gentle Yoga class iin the morning & a Gentle/Yoga Nidra class in the evening. My studio is small & intimate so my class size is limited. to 6 people, please go to my Schedule an Appointment Page to book so you can be sure to reserve your space. If you do not reserve a place, it may be that I cannot accomodate you upon your arrival. Online booking is available as well on Instagram. or you may download the Acuity Scheduling app from the app store to add my studio for ease of access to reserve your place in class. The scheduling URL is You may bring your own mat & other items if you desire, or use those I have here in the studio. Please come dressed in your yoga attire as change rooms are not available. Eye-pillows with remove-able covers for washing are available for purchase to use in Savasana or meditation if you wish to have one. They can be ordered online or purchased at the studio.      The practice of yoga began for me as a teenage girl. I spent many years after my first experience with yoga catching a class when I could, practicing at home when time was of the essence, & at times abandoning all but brief asanas all together. When I look back over the years, I realize how available yoga has always been to me, even a short practice had the capability of energizing me & awakening me to the limitless possibilities that life had to offer. My mat has become a place of precious solitude, where I can stretch & grow my body, my mind & connect to my soul. It has brought with it a tribe where I feel welcome without judgement or expectation to be anything other than who I am.. Yoga continues to empower me as an older woman, & I am moving into my latter years with joy, strength & looking at new horizons. My mat has been with me on beaches, in the forest, in RV's while it rained & many a hotel room. It has even come with me to hospice settings & hospital wards, giving me a few minutes break when I needed it in the visitors lounge.

     Yoga can help you in ways you never dreamed possible. It can help to restore function to your body, help to calm your mind. & relieve some of the tension that we all experience. Yoga can take you on a journey to explore yourself in new ways with each practice that you do. Yoga means "Yoking together" taking your breath & awareness to your body, where all three can meet together in unity.
